Our Story

We are three teenage girls, Brit Richards (President), Gracie Strickland (Vice President and Treasurer), and Molly Ryzewicz (Secretary), from the United States. We first met at Berkshire Soccer Academy, a soccer camp in Massachusetts in 2021. In 2023, we started Spreading Smiles Foundation to bring soccer to girls in rural parts of the world where they don’t have the same opportunities and support as girls in the USA.
We each gather donations of equipment from teams in our area and then them to the girls soccer teams we support in Tanzania. We hope to make an impact on these girls and inspire them to fight for their rights, on and off the field.
Being teenage girls ourselves, we are constantly fighting to be taken seriously, but knowing how privileged we are to receive and education and play sports motivates us to not give up on our journey.
